The meeting will be held at the Coastal Bend Food Bank, 5442 Bear Ln. Lunch begins at 11:45 AM, Meeting from 12:00 – 1:15 PM, Cost is $22 for Lunch or $7 for Non-Eaters. The Rotary Club of Corpus Christi welcomes Bea Hanson, Executive Director of the Coastal Bend Food Bank, as this week’s featured speaker. Bea will share how the Food Bank fights hunger and promotes wellness through food distribution, nutrition education and community programs. She will also discuss the Valero Garden and the important role it plays in supporting the Food Bank’s mission. Members will learn more about our partnership with the Food Bank, including our upcoming Food Boxing service project on October 6. Join us Thursday to hear how we can continue working together to serve our Coastal Bend neighbors.
