Weatherill, Anne & Jim

Jim and Anne Weatherill co-authored “The Blades Carry Me: Inside the Helicopter War in Vietnam.”  Jim flew 1,341 combat hours as a 22-year old U.S. Army Chinook helicopter pilot in Vietnam.  The book honors helicopter crew contributions to aviation history and depicts the effects of war on those serving on the battlefield and their families facing challenges at home.  The couple will sign books and talk about their own journey to recovery and healing.  Make plans to join us.

Thursday's meeting reminded us of the extraordinary knowledge and experience within the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi @followers.Moderated by Jonathan Williams, our interactive program brought together Paul Broderson, Justin Butts, Jim Mailhes, and Kathleen Clark for a practical conversation about estate planning, financial security, long-term care, family communication, funeral preplanning, and wellness.Members continued the conversation with table leaders Edgar Munoz, Jarrod Bolliger, Ernest de la Garza, Jessica Prukop, John Holloway, Suzel Mendieta, and Kathleen Clark—asking questions, sharing experiences, and considering steps they can take now to protect themselves and their families.Preparation is an act of care. Conversations like these can prevent unnecessary complications and provide greater peace of mind before a crisis occurs.Thank you to Jonathan, our panelists, table leaders, and everyone who participated. What’s your DISC style? 🦁🐬🐨🦅At today’s Rotary Club of Corpus Christi meeting, Mary McQueen led our members through an interactive DISC personality activity.
