Carolyn Ross, Disaster Program Manager for the Coastal Bend-Texas Chapter of the American Red Cross will be here to share opportunities for corporate and agency partnerships.  Highlighted activities for engagement include Ready When the Time Comes (RWTC) and Ready Rating.  RWTC allows organizations to give back to the community by empowering employees to act as disaster relief volunteers during disasters as well as supporting the Red Cross mission through a diverse array of programs and services.  Ready Rating is a self-paced, membership program designed to help businesses, organizations and schools become better prepared for emergencies. All in one place, Ready Rating members have access to one-of-a-kind tools, resources and information for evaluating and improving their ability to withstand disaster, maintain operations, and protect lives and property.  All disaster or preparedness programs are at no cost to the partner agency including any requested training.

This isn't just about today's shoreline—it's about the future of our Coastal Bend. This is exactly why our members look forward to Thursdays. We don't just hear great speakers—we gain insight into the projects, people, and decisions that are shaping our community long before they become everyday conversation.Ready to experience Rotary for yourself?
