“Texas Higher Education over the Next 15 Years” will be the program topic for Thursday’s meeting. Make plans to hear our own Dr. Bob Furgason, Past President of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, speak. During Bob’s 14-year tenure as TAMU-CC President, the two-year University became a four-year University and size of the student body increased dramatically, as did the number of programs and degree offerings.
It will be interesting to hear his insights as to what higher education will look like in the future.
