May 6, 2021 meeting

Thursday will be a special Welcome Home Celebration!  The day has finally arrived when we can safely gather and see our President, Mike Kershaw at the podium.  We can see our friends again. We can catch up with our fellow Rotarians.

We were informed over the weekend that the Port of Corpus Christi lifted their COVID restrictions.  So….there will be some changes to our meeting format from what was sent out on Thursday as approved by the Board this morning.

– There will NOT be someone screening for COVID at the door.  (Do not come if you are sick.)
– Masks are now optional
– Tables will seat 8 people.

We hope that you will be able to join us in person, however if you would like to log into Zoom we will provide that link on Wednesday, as in the past.

Leadership is learned by doing—and this week, our Rotarians stepped into the RYLA experience!Led by Mary McQueen, members participated in interactive activities normally used to help RYLA students build confidence, strengthen communication skills, work with others, and grow into thoughtful, capable leaders.RYLA is one of the many ways the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi invests in young people and the future of our community. It also gave our own members a chance to learn, laugh, and grow together—because leadership development never stops. When you join Rotary, you become part of a club that develops leaders, serves our community, builds lasting friendships, and creates opportunities to make a meaningful difference.Ready to get involved?
