March 5, 2015 Meeting

“This week?  It’s already this week?”  But lucky for you, it’s only Monday.  You still have three days to think about what direction you want YOUR Rotary Club to go.  What areas within our community should we be focusing? Where should we try to initiate a Global Project and who wants to go?

On Thursday, it will be time to put these answers (and many more) onto the colored cards that the Strategic Planning team can sort through and summarize for a general membership vote later this month.

This Thursday is the brainstorming session where we get as many of your ideas as possible collected in one place (or 2000 places if you count each card) all centered on the four areas of Service: Service to Members, Service to Youth, Service within our Community and Service outside our Community.

At a meeting later this month, we will all get to walk through and “vote” on our favorite suggestions that we will have developed and collected from each of us this week.  These suggestions will help set the direction for our club and will be the basis for our Strategic Plan.

This is going to be a fun experience.  Bring your good ideas and sit at the table of the Service area that you feel strongest about.  See you Thursday.

This is YOUR Club & we need YOUR ideas!

Celebrating Conservation in Action 🌿At our Harvey Weil Sportsman Conservationist Award on April 18, 2026, the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi was proud to honor Mary and Mike Terry as our 2026 Conservationists of the Year.Through their work at MT7 Ranch, the Terrys have transformed more than 14,000 acres into a living model of conservation—restoring native habitats, supporting wildlife, and creating opportunities for education and research. Their commitment goes beyond land stewardship, investing in students, researchers, and future conservation leaders across Texas.Rooted in faith, family, and a deep sense of responsibility, their work reflects a powerful belief: caring for the land today ensures it thrives for generations to come.Watch their story here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mumHq7QM5NE&t=24sTo learn more about Rotary Club of Corpus Christi, visit rotarycc.com#Rotary #RotaryClub #CorpusChristi #ServiceAboveSelf #Conservation #TexasWildlife #HarveyWeil #RotaryImpact ... We had a meaningful meeting at the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi this week, starting with a practical and informative program from fellow Rotarian Kathleen Clark, who presented Outsmart the Scammers. Her talk walked through common tactics and simple ways to stay protected—important reminders that are easy to overlook but critical to keep in mind.We also recognized several of our members for honors received at the recent District Conference, including Juan Guerrero, Ralph Silva, Mary McQueen, and Marissa Ford, each acknowledged for their impact and service throughout the past Rotary year. It was a proud moment to see the work of our club reflected at the district level. In addition, we celebrated Crystal Mead with a surprise Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing her lasting contributions and dedication to Rotary. It was a special and well-deserved moment for our club.To learn more about the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi, visit rotarycc.com#Rotary #ServiceAboveSelf #CorpusChristi #RotaryClub #CommunityLeadership ...
