July 9, 2020 meeting

Our program speaker on Thursday will be Jim Moloney.  Jim will be reviewing the new book by Murphy Givens, Thomas Noakes: Diary of War, Drought, and Hard Times.

Thomas Noakes kept a diary of his mundane life, telling of his struggles to exist in South Texas during the hard years of the Civil War. Murphy Givens has extensively annotated the diary to clarify Noakes entries in his latest book.

Join us for another webinar  Rotary meeting at noon this Thursday.  Look for Zoom webinar information and link in Wednesday’s meeting reminder from Lysa.
