There’s a new sheriff in town! Nueces County commissioners recently voted to select the Corpus Christi Police Department’s Lt. John Chris Hooper as the new sheriff. Sheriff Hooper replaced Jim Kaelin, who retired at the end of October to spend more time with his family.
