Our program speaker on Thursday is Ygnacio Garza, Harvey Weil Conservationist of the Year.  Mr. Garza is well known for making policy level changes at the State level.

We had a fantastic meeting on Thursday with Nueces County Judge Connie Scott. She provided us with an update on the sources of funding for the Nueces County General Fund Budget and explained how those funds are utilized. Additionally, she shared insights on the current projects underway in the county. Connie's presentation was both enlightening and engaging, leaving us with a clearer understanding of the financial landscape and how it supports the community's development. We left the meeting not only with knowledge but also with a renewed sense of optimism about the future projects that promise to enhance the quality of life in Nueces County.
