Our program speaker on Thursday will be from one of our club’s Corporate Memberships, Art Klein.

Art Klein has nearly 35 years of refining experience. In 2010 Art was transferred to the Corpus Christi Refinery and for the past five years has been part of Corpus Christi Refinery’s leadership team in the capacities of General Manager of Technical Services and General Manager of Operations and Maintenance. In September 2015 he became Vice President & General Manager of Corpus Christi Refinery.

We had a fantastic meeting on Thursday with Nueces County Judge Connie Scott. She provided us with an update on the sources of funding for the Nueces County General Fund Budget and explained how those funds are utilized. Additionally, she shared insights on the current projects underway in the county. Connie's presentation was both enlightening and engaging, leaving us with a clearer understanding of the financial landscape and how it supports the community's development. We left the meeting not only with knowledge but also with a renewed sense of optimism about the future projects that promise to enhance the quality of life in Nueces County.
