Our program speaker on Thursday will be Dr. David Bridges, Associate Professor and Chair with the Department of Engineering and Director of the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC). TAMU-CC took delivery of an RS-16 after its initial demonstration flights from Padre Island National Seashore. Its payload is a three-camera system consisting of a high-definition video camera, an infrared camera and an ultraviolet camera. The payload is used to acquire imagery that is used by researchers at the University.
