Jim Moloney will deliver another interesting presentation of Murphy Givens latest book, 100 Tales of Old Texas. 

Murphy Givens has compiled stories related in some of these hard-to-find old histories into a collection of 100 historic recollections. All tales are from books, newspapers or magazines over 60 years old. They were selected for their tales relating to Texas and Texans.

We had a fantastic meeting on Thursday with Nueces County Judge Connie Scott. She provided us with an update on the sources of funding for the Nueces County General Fund Budget and explained how those funds are utilized. Additionally, she shared insights on the current projects underway in the county. Connie's presentation was both enlightening and engaging, leaving us with a clearer understanding of the financial landscape and how it supports the community's development. We left the meeting not only with knowledge but also with a renewed sense of optimism about the future projects that promise to enhance the quality of life in Nueces County.
