Captain (ret) FM Kershaw, a 40 plus year member of the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi, will present an introduction to Maritime Pilotage. Included will be a brief history of Maritime Pilotage, its role on the Port of Corpus Christi and the changes and challenges Captain (ret) Kershaw has witnessed in his over 60 years in the maritime trade. In addition to his work on the Port of Corpus Christi, Captain Kershaw served as master of both harbor assist and ocean going tugs and was licensed as a Pilot in both the Ports of Houston and Brownsville, as well as five other gulf ports.
