Meyer, Becky

Becky Meyer joined Youth Odyssey in 2006 and has been the Executive Director since 2009.  Youth Odyssey has provided approximately 10,000 at-risk and disadvantaged youth with life changing opportunities; 800-900 youth annually. They have longstanding partnerships with many agencies here in the Coastal Bend; and programming is free of cost to the youth and their families.

We had a fantastic meeting on Thursday with Nueces County Judge Connie Scott. She provided us with an update on the sources of funding for the Nueces County General Fund Budget and explained how those funds are utilized. Additionally, she shared insights on the current projects underway in the county. Connie's presentation was both enlightening and engaging, leaving us with a clearer understanding of the financial landscape and how it supports the community's development. We left the meeting not only with knowledge but also with a renewed sense of optimism about the future projects that promise to enhance the quality of life in Nueces County.
