April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Children’s Center of the Coastal Bend (CACCB) is a non-profit organization providing free services to child victims in a 12-county area. Cassandra Hinojosa, Community Outreach Coordinator for CACCB will give an overview of the Center and its mission, highlight the services provided and describe how the Center has continued to operate safely throughout the pandemic. In addition, she will discuss the types of cases seen at the Center, the signs of abuse, some of the long-term effects of abuse and what to do if you suspect abuse.
