The Rotary Club of Corpus Christi welcomes Dr. Michael Womack, Executive Director of the South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center. Dr. Womack has led the Gardens since 2006 and is a well-known horticulturist, educator, and advocate for environmental stewardship in the Coastal Bend. He will share updates on the Botanical Gardens and its role in conservation, education, and connecting our community with the natural world. With South Texas facing ongoing drought conditions and water conservation challenges, members may also gain valuable insight into native and drought-tolerant plants that thrive in our region.
