Our speaker on Thursday has spoken to over 130 Rotary Clubs throughout America and has written seven books, one of which was a 2007 nonfiction finalist for the Texas Book Award. Judge Law has presented on CSPAN Book TV and four times at the national press club.
Judge Law’s recently released nonfiction book American Evita: Lurleen Wallace is the first full biography of America’s third woman governor. Although she was the wife of avowed segregationist George, she struck an independent course as governor and was eulogized by Dr. Ralph Abernathy, a top lieutenant of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., when she died in office in 1968.
