SCAN, South Coast Angel Network, provides a variety of investment opportunities with potential for high rates of return to its members. It supports entrepreneurs in growing their businesses, with preference for local and Texas based companies. SCAN is supported by TAMU-CC Innovation Center. Through the angel network and affiliation with ATAN, we see unique investment opportunities that otherwise would not be see. All members make their own decisions and the diversity of member backgrounds greatly aids the due diligence.
Since its founding two years ago, SCAN members have invested nearly $1-million in 12 companies. SCAN hears two investment proposal six times each year. New members are always welcome.
