Thursday’s program speaker will be Allen Schlimper, supervisor at Corpus Christi Air Traffic Control and Approach Control.  He has been with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for 27 years and started his career in Baton Rouge, LA.  Mr. Schlimper’s presentation on “What is Air Traffic Control” especially how it pertains to South Texas.  He will also outline the responsibilities of the FAA and local air traffic control procedures.  Fly over to the Ortiz Center on Thursday.  Seating is first come, first (class) served!
