Ways for members to participate in our Club: (1) RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award). Responsible for promoting the RYLA program to area high schools and organizations, and organizing and hosting the annual weekend event February 2-4, 2007. Helps coordinate and put on annual one-day Corpus Christi area Adoption Awareness picnic for potential adopters and adoptees (fall-Saturday). For information, contact Ellen May at 882-8672; (3) Shots Across Texas. Staffs a one-day volunteer effort to provide immunizations to school-age children (fall – Saturday). Obtains, organizes and coordinates silent auction fund raiser at annual April banquet. Organizes and coordinates various Adopt-A-School support activities with the Corpus Christi Independent School District at Robert Driscoll Middle School. Coordinate bell ringing for Salvation Army donations by Club members (bell ringing – one hour, one day in December). Serve your club by participating in a range of committees from Membership Development, Meals & Tickets to providing an Invocation at a regular Rotary meeting.
